The Dirty Mules
The Dirty Mules
A wild untamed 3-piece rockabilly band from Chicago featuring mbrs of Rumbletrain.
The North Avenue Stompers
It is a rare occurrence when a gang of grumpy music veterans manages to put down their beers and form a group, but Chicago is all the richer for it. Emerging from a dark corner of North & Elston, The North Ave Stompers bring a hard driving rhythm & blues sound that has been sorely missing in these parts. Their classic lineup of guitar, stand up bass, drums and saxophone rocks like Duane Eddy and swings like Louis Jordan. It’s an all-star cast of guys who have overpaid dues and travelled around many blocks.
Together the five of them have an unbelievable 100 years of performing experience. With Eric ‘Shoutin’ Sheridan (Uptown Rhythm Kings) on vocal duties; Brian Lueck (HiFi & the Roadburners, No Empathy) on drums; Billy Favata (Demented Are Go, Torturing Elvis, Rockin Billy & the Wild Coyotes) beating the bass; Jason Larsen (The Peelers, The Stranger, Thee Invaders, Andre Williams, Bailey Dee) on guitar and Denis McQuinn on sax (HiFi & the Roadburners, Deal’s Gone Bad). Seeing The North Ave. Stompers will convince you that drinking five shots and then making a pass at that married girl at the end of the bar, the one standing next to her hulking husband, is in fact a grand idea.
Royal Son Of A Guns
Shotgun, whiskey, old dog, and rocking chair not included.

Like Bela Lugosi on a mechanical bull, Royal Son of a Guns belt out rip snorting roadhouse acid folk blues with heavy doses of surrealism. These bar stool smashing miscreants take Americana on a psycho-cathartic hayride through the thorny nettles of the American roots music underbelly with primitive guitars, relentless rat-a-tat washboard and a bedrock of bass guitar that will rattle your teeth. Dig.
Bremer and the No Goods
Chicago based Rock n Roll/Alt. Country band.
