Dally Auston
Dally Auston
Hailing from the Westside of Chicago, Save Money emcee Dally Auston has been rapping since his junior year of high school, and gained notoriety through MySpace, quick spontaneous performances at his high school, and at small shows on school nights. Through these activities, Dally learned early that hip-hop was his true passion. The rapper's smooth melodic flow and poetic wordplay set him apart and give a true unique sound to his music.
With the spotlight that has been placed on the Save Money collective, due to the recent success of Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa. Dally Auston is absolutely a forced to be reckoned with in the up & coming hip-hop community. His recent release "The Wood," was featured on Hot 97's Who's Next, Fake Shore Drive, OnSmash, Okayplayer, Nah Right, Ruby Hornet, Respect Magazine, ILLROOTS, Jenesis Magazine, and many other publications.
The Chicago hip-hop blog Fake Shore Drive even named his project "The Wood" among the top projects of 2013 (so far) and he's been selected as song of the week numerous times. He has worked with numerous artists such as Giftz, Mick Jenkins, MC Tree, Jean Deaux, Lucki Eck$, and his Save Money family.
He has performed alongside Chance The Rapper, Kids These Days, and Katie Got Bandz. He will continue to perform throughout Chicago and beyond.
The Rap Genius verified artist is currently in the process of crafting his sophomore project "Roses," which will drop either late 2013 or early 2014. Stay tuned from more from Dally Auston.
Elz The DJ
Stunt Taylor
Stunt Taylor is from Chicago, IL and he started doing music in 2007. His single "Fe Fe On The Block" has been getting a lot of recognition from WGCI and from many well known Chicago artist including Chance The Rapper.
Jayaire Woods
Jayaire Woods raps like he's running out of time. Every line is urgent. Bars bleed into bars. Words stream out. But his insistency isn't translated through raw speed, à la Busta Rhymes, or through hoarse intimidation, like DMX. His weapon of choice is melody. Raised in the Chicago suburb of Bellwood, the 21-year-old grew up listening to his dad's R. Kelly CDs and early favorite Ma$e—artists who played a big part in the evolution of the hip-hop hook. Now, thanks to the likes of Drake and Fetty Wap, there's an expectation for every line in every rap song to be able to catch an ear. Jayaire Woods embraces that challenge. Rapping is singing; singing is rapping. This is the way things are done.
