Cielito Family Folk Music
This family group (5 siblings and their father) performs “mariachi”, the traditional music of Mexico, as well as the occasional a cappella & English pop song. Since moving with their 9 person family to Chicago, these vibrant young performers have produced their own album and performed for the Chicago Bulls, the National Museum of Mexican Art, WGN TV, & Old Town School of Folk Music.
Miss Jamie From the Farm
Planting seeds through song, Miss Jamie takes young kids and families on an imaginative musical adventure to her "farm" where they learn values like hard work, healthy eating, and kindness to the earth. Miss Jamie can be seen performing every day at festivals, libraries, and Mariano's grocery stores across the state.
Mr. Singer
Chicago's beloved Mr. Singer plays hundreds of gigs a year: wildly-popular shows at the Lincoln Park Zoo, the Nature Museum, clubs such as the Beat Kitchen- he's known anywhere families with young children like to rock out together. Mr. Singer, AKA Neil Firstenleit, continues his successful teaching career at his own LeitHaus Studios Chicago named "Best Music School for Kids" by Chicago Magazine.
Little Miss Ann
Little Miss Ann
In a great city called Chicago there is a 5'2 woman (thus the name) playing a guitar and singing tunes for kids. Ann Torralba, aka "Little Miss Ann" has been teaching at the pride of Chicago's Old Town School of Folk Music for over 7years.

"Little Miss Ann" brings a different sound and face to kids music. She uses her experience as a first-generation filipina-american woman, a former Chicago Public school teacher, mother, and band frontwoman to inspire kids with her upbeat folk rock music and positive messages. "Little Miss Ann" and her husband, Patrick Milani have made 3 kids cd's. Time Out Chicago has named Little Miss Ann one of 8 of the "Most Influential Kids Musicians" in Chicago as well as "One of the Best Things to Happen to Chicago Kids".

Ann's involvement in kindie music goes beyond performing, as she has helped to create popular kids music series, writes about all things kindie music for various Chicago publications, and she started the Windy Kindie Chicago Cooperative. She has also had the honor of performing with some of her favorite kindie musicians such Elizabeth Mitchell, Suzi Shelton, Charlie Hope, and Candy Band.
